Lori Kadosh, Author

Lori Sales Kadosh was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There she grew up a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and acquired a deep-seeded love for the Judaism that enwrapped her and her family in warmth and vitality. She began writing poems in early elementary school, and has always enjoyed whimsical rhyme.  Lori acquired an early knack for working with children of various physical disabilities, and knew from a young age that such work, second only to being a silly Mom, would be part of her path.

After 18 years in the frigid, albeit friendly climate of Pittsburgh, Lori re-rooted to sunny Austin, Texas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Masters of Arts in Speech/Language Pathology. She specializes in pediatric speech therapy services, where her goal, even above that of improving children’s communication skills, is to help them see their amazing potential within.

Lori’s favorite activities include running, camping and chanting Torah readings. Lori has an energetic and inquisitive 6-year-old son with whom she enjoys tickle games, diving for torpedoes, and losing chess matches.
