Michelle Henninger

My artistic talents were discovered at the tender age of 5, in Allentown, PA when I was challenged by a TV commercial to "draw this turtle." Soon after, I had my very first art show (thanks for the use of your refrigerator Mom and Dad!). Since then, I've moved north, along with my husband, our two brilliant daughters, and our loopy dog Lucy, and we've made Nashua, New Hampshire our home!

I am a regular contributor to Stories for Children Magazine, and have had several illustrations published in the SCBWI Bulletin. In 2009, I was the lucky recipient of the New England SCBWI Ann Barrow Illustrator Scholarship. I am currently working on a children's book with a Boston based non-profit group.
